BMW has introduced its 440i M Sport which features a smooth and powerful BMW 440i Engine with six cylinders engine. It is a great vehicle to drive and a comfortable cruise. On the economy side it is not a best option because it has a relatively larger engine and eager to rev very hard. But it is still a great choice and far better than those engines who have tiny displacements and smaller sizes after the downsizing trend. It is far better than the all four cylinder turbocharged units as well.
BMW has given the 4-series some extra oomph and with this engine, 440i will get 20bhp extra from the new turbocharged engine. However, with 450Nm of torque, the automatic 440i M Sport will sprint from zero to 62 miles per hour in just five seconds but it still has electronically limited top speed of 155 miles per hour. The all new six cylinder engine delivers power and loves to be revved hard. In gear overtaking is very easy with the 440i engines and enjoyment starts flowing after you stretch out engine. It sounds excellently and driver enjoys every bit of power from behind the wheel.
It forays a great stability between performance and usability on the road. The automatic transmission has not have any bad performance with the fuel economy of 42.8 miles per gallon and it is the best choice for those who are looking for the more frugal alternative.
Although, BMW 435d is a closest option on the diesel line-up and its figures are also very impressive while being in the same price tag but it has better fuel economy of 50.4 miles per gallon.
It is a reality that performance and handling with hand in hand on any vehicle because if the handling is good, it can give you more oomph when behind the wheel. In the comfort mode, the steering is very light and it weighs up very nicely to give you the confidence in the tight corners. It is definitely the next big thing on the BMW model line-up.
